Radiohead

So they sold out el Foro Sol twice in just two hours, they turned the radio stations into an all Radiohead all week playlist, they made people buy their tickets at 3 times the real price, they also lost the concert and let it fall at the middle of the second date.

So i did go to both days, and i dont know what you guys think but, i believe the first one had:

- Better sound
- Better response from the audience
- More songs (or at least it felt like it was longer)

But the second one had:

- Better set list selection (they played all my favorite songs on this one, almost! they couldnt go on with Exit Music, wtf?) which its very important for me, they pleased me and that its not likely to happen.

So they lost their concert at the middle and they couldnt recover the power, which was like.. i mean its Radiohead, they have enough songs to play and make the people cry, scream, all that!

Ok ill tell you my fave Radiohead songs:

Talk Show Host
Karma Police
Exit Music
All I Need
How To Disappear Completely

Remember Romeo & Juliet? well that was my first time listening to this Radioheads song, i loved it, i think that moment in the movie was sexy, was decadent, but it made you get into the mood, the moment, at Verona beach that afternoon.

I love this movie, one of my favorite ones, excellent Radioheads intervention here. The relation between Radiohead and Romeo & Juliet its very strong, it creates this atmosphere that i really relate to.

I agree, totally... I friend and I just couldn't understand why the second concert had such a great playlist (we both like very much Amnesiac & Kid A, so we were amazed)... and yet, the first show seemed a lot more impressive...

The sound was different... we thought it was because we were in different sits both days, but I think the problem was there was a lot of air on monday... it sometimes happens...

My Favs on monday:

-Dollars & Cents
-The Gloaming
-Weird Fishes
-Talk Show Host
-All I Need
-Climbing Up the Walls

and Creep sucks... and there was another one they played from The Bends or something, puaj.

I like Creep, i think its a great track, and it was fantastic to hear it, it was really awesome to hear all that people singing as one, it was glorious, it was their only and last resource as they had a bad night.

Idiotheque was amazing...

Exit music... was it before that cuando Thom Yorke laughed weird and then went "sorry"? I cant remember... yeah something weird happened there.

The bends estuvo rebonita, me sorprendió mucho que la tocaran tho. But gotta love cuando dice "i wish it was the sixties, i wish we could be happy... " So, no complains.

My favs tho were:

talk show host, climbing up the walls, like spinning plates, you and whose army, idiotheque y how to disappear completely.

To me seeing radiohead here now, meant like the end of something... i dunno, somewhat meaningful, but still not what it was for me some years ago.

what about WEIRD FISHES? I don't remember half of the concert because in el foro sol the beers are just too big. Kraftwerk opening was amazing though, the changing from puppets-cyborgs to the the real musicians from song to song was just as hallucinating as a Luis Buñuel film...
