Kings Of Leon have... everything. They are handsome (all of them), they dress good which gives them style, without losing their background (yeah the redneck past that gives them credibility too), they are a family! they make us want to have that bond, and most important.. theyve got talent.
So before the years over, i have to give them the place they deserve, 1st!
Thank you guys for giving me another soundtrack for my life!

Dylan
Coming in in second (BRMCs my fave band and i saw them twice this year so they win by default), but Dylan was like the best fun ive had this year. The joy Dylan gave to me was big.
I remember we were kinda late because we stopped at some hidden spot around Bosques even thought the driver told us not to, so we could get high, we didnt expect traffic would be that crazy, we had to smoke some weed if we were going to see Dylans concert (we ended up smoking inside the venue later on too haha). So we are back in the car, stuck 1km/h, im so nervous first coz i needed to take a leak and then coz the concert was about to start, i thought we were going to miss the first couple of songs, but actually i had time for the toilet and then to drink a shot of bourbon in the name of cowboys, and we got in just right when he came out to start his show.
He was more than i expected, i always thought of Dylan like this very controversial but lonely man, not very talkative and now that hes old i thought we were going to see this weak old man trying to put up a show with more people on stage than the needed and trademark well practiced moves that would look fake and blah blah. But as my faith was right, he was just perfect, just Dylan, his band, the bands sound and a normal true set of songs that went up straight to my heart.
I did dance a lot, i was in love with him for the show, everything went flawless, perfect show.

American X
Yeah they did play American X at el Vive Latino and then at el Salon 21... which was perfect. This is a track i really like, its dark, aggressive, kinda industrial, punchy, and its long! the track goes on for about 8 mins.
The first time i got to listen to it was the first time i put on the record riding a car, i was getting pretty wasted on a beer (i usually dont drink beer) which means that i was already there. The tracks i knew already passed and then i got lost into the music and the conversation, and suddenly i realize this riff guitar that sounded pretty.. vintage, i thought then. And then after some nice up and downs with the voice, it leads to this long slow solo.. its funny because i remember i had to comment on that: "whats going on? the Doors of our era? nobodys doing that now!" haha i loved the track since the first moment.
Anyway so i have the honor to announce the winner of the best concert of 2008 award... and the winner is... pretty obvious... yea.. BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB! (since i couldnt define which concert was better, i decide to just put them together as the BRMC live act of this year (i think they played American X very nicely at el Vive Latino though).

Crimson & Clover
Over and over!
Tommy James and The Shondells had two songs, Mony Mony and Crimson & Clover. I actually didnt know Mony Mony was their song until now, but Crimson & Clover over and over got through my garden afternoons of smoking weed and singing, one of those tracks everybody can sing but nobody can remember who sings it.
I found this live version but I wanted to post the album version because i think this weird Oh Uh Oh Oh Ah Ah over the Crimson and Clover choir at the end was terrific, becoming another anthem to sunsets and friends sharing and drinking.

Elton John
I just got news that there is a ticket with my name for Elton Johns January 31st 2009 concert at el Colegio de las Vizcainas... y me creo muchisimo!
I am very exited, its gonna be a very magical moment in a small formal cocktail platform, in order to contribute with educational development here in Mexico. Just a 1500 people crowd, which makes it a deep and very personal show.
My mother used to play Elton Johns records over breakfast and i recall her being a great fan, which traduced into making me a big fan too. Slow dancing, leaning my head over my boyfriends chest while hes holding me softly but sure. i hope i can remember it all when time comes for me to wake up from that future dream.

Pulp
Pulp was probably my favorite band for years, i always thought they were very underrated... paradoxically i was very proud of being one of the few girls in my class room who knew them and knew the lyrics of their songs by heart.
Jarvis Cocker has been an idol and icon, i love his style, hes got class and a great voice, but apart from that he has the talent of being one of the best song writers ever. I always thought he had this special way of saying things, as a young lad remembering his childhood days, we could understand his lyrics as if he was this young man falling in love, calling a girlfriend, heart broken, discovering sexual intercourse, etcetera.
I wonder if Pulp will come back someday, i really would love to see them playing live.

Champagne Supernova
Oh but the concert was fun! i had a blast and i think it was mostly thanks to alcohol (i did handle to get a little bottle of brandy inside!!) and the excitement of watching the Gallagher brothers do what they do. I heard people saying "me cago la madre ese wey" "que mamon" "pinche actitud"... well yeah! thats what the Gallaghers do, and if you didnt know that you payed to get that kind of attitude, then i dont understand why you payed the ticket!
Anyway, the concert was fun i cant deny it, but the sound was so bad, even drunk i noticed it was like if they didnt do any soundcheck, i dont know if its the place or if its the amplification or i dont know, but that place should be torn down and rebuilt with better concert hall meanings.
This song reminds me of my teens, getting wet on the rain, drink wine and spill it, all over my jeans while dancing.
I wish i was at this concert:

M83
Yeah this is a new band over my iPod, i just discovered this great electro rock band that can add a smile or a tear to my life. Ive been watching their videos and they have this weird something about Halloweens, which i think its fun, make me remind Donnie Darko (love that movie!). Anyway, they sound nostalgic but bright and as this kind of bands with a lot of sound and not a single empty spot on the capacity of your speakers, they go under the flag of... echoed voices and pretty guitar riffs.
The videos remind me of one particular young little female, but actually i should be honest and admit that this kinda reminds me of me, a teenage little me. Do you remember how we used to spent all afternoon wondering around, nothing to do but daydreaming? fair enough, we were 15! but yeah, i was (im still) a professional day dreamer (as well as a professional critic of music haha). Anyway i was going to say this is a pretty video, it brings back memories of youth crushes and night dreaming haha.

She Wants Revenge
So.. they played the Estacion Indianilla museum which i think made an awesome venue visually, but for a concert was crappy, acoustically was shit (what i know about acoustics and musical resonance?) and the going to the restroom thing was a nightmare. Tequila Cuervo brought them as a headline show for their battle of the bands and they put up a tight set of amateur bands before we had them on stage. The show was fun i cant deny it, but the sound was crappy and if it wasnt for me knowing the songs and the loads of tequila combined with my jumpy youngster friend, it would have been really boring.
I think She Wants Revenge is a great dancing electro rock band, its fun.. the beat lets you go sensual and the melody makes you sing, they have this slight touch of rap you can sing too. I think its great for clubbing and even though its a two members band they come out with 4 members playing instruments which can be great for bands that put up a show with great equality sound, but for SWR... i say they should stick to what the are, a Dj and a guitar singer guy.
I had to find a video i could post because Universal Music decided to deactivate the video insertion thing... i could have tried the typical live video but i wanted to post this one because i think it was finely done by Joaquin Phoenix.

The Kills
This guys do justice to their name, they fucking kill it!
The kills is a two members band, an american girl that makes it to the tops of the list of cool singer front chicks, and this english guitar killer gifted with a creative mind to the fullest! A duo worth seeing live, they are agressive, sensual and fashionable, this couple could sound a little simple but giving emphasis to what they have, cool beats, guitar riffs with attitude, and a savage sexual voice.
This girls my role model!
hahaha nah but shes way cool.

The Doors
A vast radiant beach in a cool jeweled moon
Couples naked race down by it's quiet side
And we laugh like soft, mad children
Smug in the wooly cotton brains of infancy
The music and voices are all around us.
This reminds me my infancy, the Doors were a constant over my child years. My parents were great the Doors fans, my mothers used to put their records while my sister and i were playing around, i recall sunny days spent at the garden listening this song, i didnt really care about the equality of this track, as a kid, it was just a rhythm to follow with a soft melodic voice i could sing to. When the door of the studio was open, as an invitation to come inside, my father could be sometimes just sitting listening to the Doors, i would go in just trying to get his attention, i knew he left it open for me to come in and spent sometime together. It has taken part in my lifes soundtrack, it comes with good and bad memories, it comes with this mystic view of early dawns, it comes with this lonely joints smoked on my beds, it comes with soft and wild movement, it comes with nonsense meanings, it comes with a path for me to follow.
Before you slip into unconsciousness
I'd like to have another kiss
Another flashing chance at bliss
Another kiss, another kiss
The days are bright and filled with pain
Enclose me in your gentle rain
The time you ran was too insane
We'll meet again, we'll meet again
Oh tell me where your freedom lies
The streets are fields that never die
Deliver me from reasons why
You'd rather cry, I'd rather fly
The crystal ship is being filled
A thousand girls, a thousand thrills
A million ways to spend your time
When we get back, I'll drop a line

Death in Vegas
Well... let the guys from BRMC take a rest so we can move on to check up some other things (not that i will not post BRMC videos later on haha).
Mary Ann Fedick, 34
Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
After asking her sister to take care of her kids, the mother of three, a cocaine user, killed herself with a shotgun.
Death in Vegas reminds me of this times in life when your voice sound rusty, things are pretty dark and quite.. scabby, specially this track takes me there. They do this dark rock and mix it with electronics, they are usually very electronic, but the guitar arrangements are a constant and a protagonist roll its well intended for the ambiance section of their songs.
This video i found its very creepy, i was going to post the typical live video as i always choose to do, but this one i feel transmits the fucked up society feeling i recall it made me feel.

BRMC week post #6
Oh but Robert is a great show man, it kinda surprised me when he came out alone with his guitar for playing a few solo songs, he even sat down next to the people... it was a perfect moment... even though as he said "im not that good at this" and he actually mistaken the first notes, he apologized and started again which was kinda... human hahaha.

BRMC week post #5 (The Aftermath)
Quantity of the damage: no numbers... critical status!
I see no color in your eyes
I see no images at all
I see no color in your eyes
and no reflections of all the sky
Yesterday, BRMC, the best concert of the year and my life!
I totally mean it, it was a perfect tight set which included songs from every album. They played long thats all i recall, i think i was too exited to concentrate on something else but the feeling. Peter had his acoustic solo set and Robert did too. They even played a new song, and actually they asked the crowd what song we wanted to listen but they never heard me screaming: WINDOWS!!!. The girl drummer was excellent, putting up her punk roots she pumped up the songs giving you fast tempo uprising in one of the numbers, that was really awesome!
I will tell more about it but right now i have to go listen to my Baby81 record.

BRMC week post #4
Yesterday i fell asleep in front of my computer as i do quite often and well i couldnt post entry #3 (you can try to imagine how was it if you want).
Tonight i will be at BRMCs concert! I just hope they bring their piano and play all the melodic songs i love, and specially my favorite one... Windows! Anyway, its gonna be great. This band has been like.. one my favorite bands for quite a long time now but i think right now its the perfect moment for them to come, they have 4 albums, 2 EPs with rarities which means they have a long list to choose from for their set. I actually love every song, but i have my favorites. Its also the perfect moment for them to come for me, because right now.. i know that this is my favorite band, and i feel the urge of listening to them live. Ive seen them before at el vive latino, which was a great performance but the festival was shit. Right now... i cant wait to go out from this office and get on my Black Rebel concert outfit hahaha get a drink for relaxing and smoke a little bit on the way to the concert, and i will not stop tonight ill enjoy this to its fullest! i need it!
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Stop
I bet theyll end their set with this song. Look at my perfect songlist for tonight: (i know its not going to happen)
20 Hours
Howl
All You Do Is Talk
Rifles
As Sure As The Sun
Suddenly
Head Up High
MK Ultra
The Line
Restless Sinner
Windows
American X and...
Stop!
But whatever they decide to play would do my night.

Okay i said i was going to try to explain how exited i am about the concert... well i cant, im too exited to do it!
Check this out, no doubt on Baby81 winning the best record of 07 award... yeah! straight to the top. That year was pretty crazy for me, the album drives me crazy so i guess it makes sense.

Likke Li
Hi, im back now that everythings got calmed in my life... and i discovered todays morning this girl, Likke Li. I learnt shes from Stockholm and her album Youth Novels its great, i cant stop listening to it. She mentioned to be a fan of african music, and i believe thats what gives her that special style, shes like a new tribal pop singer.
I mean, how do you sound like that with that set up? a guy with a guitar, another one with this weird little toy piano he uses as percussion hitting it with his fingers, both doing backing vocals, no amplification at all but microphones, then the girl doing a solo singing/percussion player with her boots, and some little metal bells hanging from her neck.
BRI-LLI-ANT!

Exit Music
Yes... i didnt post for a few days, not that you care, i guess i write this for myself. Sometimes music makes you remember an exact feeling, a moment you wouldnt remember in some other way, or maybe a moment you didnt have to remember in the first place. Sometimes you smile to that memory, sometimes you run from it. I wonder if im gonna remember the feelings i experience now with the songs i listen to now, i wonder if im killing them by giving them a feeling i dont want to remember.

Kasabian with Noel Gallagher
Noel Gallaghers a respected musician in the UK, hes actually taken as a critic (hes not as good as me but..) and he tends to be really hard on new bands, both Gallagher brothers are hard on... everything!
But when Noel says a band is good, its usually a great band, he said BRMC was brilliant, he liked the Libs at first (then rumors say he changed his mind when discovering that Pete Doherty was a Manchester United fan) and he didnt just give approval to Kasabian, he played songs with them and supported the band.
On Kasabian i can say... awesome band, playing great live shows (ive seen them live twice), great for mafia movies soundtracks, great for party, great for hanging out, great band.
Doberman is a track thats a little bit more the style i really like, when a band comes out with an album, i love the singles but then the songs i get to listen to for longer are this kind of songs. Todays not my prime time day but i hope you enjoy this track.

Oasis
Oasis is a band that carries that one flag... british pop rocknroll, and they carried it all around the 90s and defined an era, Oasis claimed to be more popular than god! Being controversial and very prolific during this era, they came out with very good albums and great hymns, yeah i used to get drunk and sing and dance under the rain to the champagne supernova in the sky chorus during my teen years. Yeah they will come out with their 8th record on October 6th of this month, Dig Out Your Soul.
Anyway... yesterday i was involved in a car crash and it reminded me of casualty, things can go all the way around in a few seconds, you can be on top and next second facing the ground. It was pretty scary and it felt horrible.
Im okay! to all the people concerned about my health haha, just a little sore thanks to the what i call "Whiplash effect".
Stand By Me was a song that really got into my life and i used to sing it everyday, the video really pulls you into and then it has a great twist! Anyway i decided to post this because it has a lot to be with the "life turning around in a sec" thing, and i love it.
Anyway... yesterday i was involved in a car crash and it reminded me of casualty, things can go all the way around in a few seconds, you can be on top and next second facing the ground. It was pretty scary and it felt horrible.

Top of the charts!
So the Kings of Leon finally came out with their newest album Only By The Night at the beginning of this week and now they have topped the charts in the UK with the #1 single and #1 album, with 220,000 copies sold. Congratulations!
I want to thank the Kings for giving me this new music that totally rocks my world haha thank you for the intensity and passion that you give to my life by this record which i totally dig. It is well known that i love Sex On Fire and Crawl and Use Somebody as the best songs of the record for being perfect but that doesnt take credit away from the other songs, the whole albums fantastic... Manhattan is a song that puts the word beautiful in my head from the start and then it adds a lot of words that go from shiny, soft, intelligent, to crazy. The guitar riff feels sharp and complex, how do you make your guitar sound like that?
Manhattan (live on Channel 4) - Kings Of Leon
You will listen to me saying "this records the best of the year" with no doubt about it. I believe that they grew up musically a lot, and the times where good to them for making good music. Caleb wrote great lyrics even though he was under the influence of strong drugs because he had an arm injury, maybe it helped him to open this portal between the world of consciousness and mystic. Ive always been around artists my whole life, and something that makes me respect an artist for is honesty, and i believe in Caleb.
Cold Desert is the best track of the album when you realize its honesty, its pure art, its poetic and real, its deep and its dark, its something that i felt in my heart.
Jesus dont love me, no one ever carried my loan.
You are right you dont have to go back and rerecord it, its perfect like that. Thank you.

Crawl
The reds and The whites and The blues!
I feel my hips go back and forth to the rhythm of the bass, it takes me to this world inside my mind, in someway its back to the 60s political protests hymns then it has this industrial power and beat. I love this song, i would kill to go to some festival to see it played live!! Its the 2nd track on the Only By The Night KOL record. Its a clear example that this guys grew up listening to Led Zep, listen to the guitar, id say they stole it from Page.
Nathan: When we discovered weed it just changed our perception of music, we spent a whole week getting high and listening to the Led Zeppelin box set.

Only By The Night
Yes! The record... the best record of the year is out now! Only By The Night is the 4th album the followill family recorded, and i believe its class. The first songs an announcement that KOL are back powerful, bright and with deep feelings from the desert. Then its for Crawl to take part, a great song... a hymn that brings back the 60s rebel atmosphere on the guitar and voice, with the new strength of industrial beats mixed with a politic critic on the lyrics that makes me want to dance non stop. Sex On Fire the third, the first, the best! Yup, the third song on the album, the first single, and my favorite! This song drives me crazy and turns me on literally hahaha! The first time i listened to it i wanted to cry, i couldnt believe how much i liked it, since the first moment.
Use Somebody, Manhattans great 5th track and if you go to the KOL home movies over youtube you can watch a video of the song on the last movie, its dedicated to their family. Then it throws this very powerful sound on the voice called Revelry, just to go on next with 17 which its complex but melodic, Notion being the most glorious feeling song on the album to my taste even though it talks about regret, I Want You reminds me to that band Cake and i get a country feel about it, then we have Be Somebody which its a really dark song that turns into a bright mix just to lead you to Cold Desert which its the song with the strongest feeling, it was recorded when Caleb was drunk and he just had a line, so the lyric was just the flow of the night and the music.
Caleb: Jesus dont love me... thats the saddest thing ive ever said in my whole life.
The record is a complete winner.

Canadian Attack on the Gallagher Brothers!
I dont understand people at all. Ive always thought that there are different kinds of human beings, good ones, bad ones, crazy bad ones, crazy drunk ones, losers, all sort of weird combinations. And i wonder what could possibly be in your mind when you decide to assault Noel Gallagher while hes on stage giving a concert to your people?
September 7th, 47 year old loser Daniel Sullivan decided to sneak up on stage and assault Noel Gallagher from the back while Oasis closure show performance at the V festival in Toronto. Noel landed hard on his monitor causing several damage to his ribcage. The band reappeared on stage to finish their performance, afterwards Noel was taken to the hospital.
Oasis its one of those bands that defines the 90s, you look back to those young days and you remember their songs, their controversy and how they shook the world with their music. The Gallagher brothers are really cocky and temperamental english Manchester City followers, and even though you can get to hate them (i actually love them), you have no reason to attack one of them on stage!

Use Somebody
Caleb: we are basically a family band.. contry, punk, garage, family band.
Kings of Leons a band of 4 family members, 3 brothers and a cousin. The Followills are a common southern american, white trash, Nashville Tennessee family, and now the band decided to record and bring up to internet some home movies to show up to their fans that they are really a common family, a common family with really talented musicians i must add. Well this is all part of the promotion for their new album and it works because now we know about the boys in the band, we like to laugh at their jokes and we like to feel like we know personal things about our idols.
As part of the promotion before the release of their new album they also do tv performances. This weekend they appeared on Later... With Jools Holland and shared stage with Metallica which came out with another new record this month. Even though the show was closed by Metallica, i believe Kings Of Leon stole the night from them because the performance of their track Use Somebody was terrific, it was beautifully done and magically played. Metallicas albums not match for KOLs one, haha im not comparing, its a classification! hahaha
I must confess that i carry in my purse or even on my hands the record at all times, i dont lose chance to put it on and enjoy it!
Anyway, the tracks fantastic, the 4 Followills sing, the lyrics are pretty and the melodys catchy. Thanks for reading.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
And.. I have a ticket for BRMC and im exited! They play a small venue and even though i would like it to be a small pub, its not bad at all. This is one of the bands that have so much talent on board that two guys sing, i wonder how they handle decisions on what songs to play or who will be singing next, i mean i know the ego of musicians could be pretty volatile but they seem to get along pretty well!
Peter Hayes is my personal favorite, i actually think hes the most talented of the band, but to my surprise most of my favorite songs were written by Robert and well Nick Jago left the band like a few months ago to go on solo, so ive heard, what an asshole! i thought he was a cool drummer. Now i read they have this girl called Leah on the drums, but i dont think shes got the Jagos attitude of "i just play drums" as he said to the mexican press when they asked him about his collaboration on the song writing for Baby 81 haha.
Well as any good fan of BRMC know, we will have a more personal concert here, they usually play slower and more deep sound songs for small crowds and this is the playlist i would like to listen to:
20 Hours
Howl
All You Do Is Talk
Rifles
As Sure As The Sun
Suddenly
Head Up High
MK Ultra
The Line
Restless Sinner
Windows
American X and...
Stop!
That would be my perfect playlist for this concert, but i know they will not play that, and im ok with that, since when fans decide whats the best song? Anyway... Im sure they will play this song i really love, its called Shuffle Your Feet and its a great rocknroll folk song. Enjoy!

The Strokes
When this band came out with a live performance video for their killer first single song "Last Nite", they took the world by storm. They reminded us what we liked of good rocknroll and revived it, thanks to them rocknroll its fashionable again. I mean they gave live to some of the old rocknroll bands and brought some new bands to represent this age, not just that, they put an end to all that rocknroll turning into hip hop metal things we liked back then when we were confused, we didnt have no flag no word, now we have where to choose from.
I remember back when i was baby, i liked the Stones, Dylan, the Doors, Led Zep just to name a few that my parents brought to my life for good. When i grew up a little i started to listen to new things and stuff i didnt really understand, when you are in your teens you are in your teens and the word by friends and by the collectivity drags you to mistakes, so i forgot about all that good rocknroll that was given to me by my parents a couple of years back. Then i remember watching the first Strokes video over the tv asking myself, is this vintage? why i never heard from this guys before?? Just to learn right after that it was a new band and they kicked ass hard and now i was going to bring back those dead bands and open the door to new ones with the same flag, same strength and passion!
Ive seen their performance more than once finding all of them terrific, the guys are not just great musicians but great equality people, Julians the coolest rocknroll star ive ever talked to, and Nicks probably the tallest! hahaha
Julian:
I share your same feelings... i love mexican weed! Thanks again Jules.

Sex On Fire
I, right now, hold in my hands a copy of Kings Of Leon newest record, yes, Only By The Night! And im happy to tell you that its the best record the guys from KOL have released, and i believe its the best album of the year. Its strong, dark, sexual, intelligent, melodic, complex, tender and cocky. It starts with a really strong power just to lower to really melodic tunes and end with soft but deep feeling tracks. I already had great moments listening to it and i think its gonna be part of the soundtrack of this epoch of my life. Sex On Fire... on this track i have a lot of things to say, the first time i heard it i was about to cry, i couldnt hold the range of emotion that was breaking up and moving fast and loose in the most sensual ways, i love the track and i claim it the track of the year.
Tonight im going to my friends flat party and im taking the record with me, im just going to stop the music and give a toast on the Followill brothers then i will put the record on and share my feelings on it with everybody. It has really great riff guitars, the lyrics made me cry, the rhythm section was intelligent and pumping up the tracks, it shines and makes you wanna raise up and dance, my hips could go on and on with this one. This is one of those records im gonna put my kids to listen to, i feel its gonna define this time in my life, im gonna look back to these days listening to it.
So Sex On Fire, i cant post the video, but ill give you the link so you can watch it over youtube, If you like it, tell me about it, if you dont, do not break my heart.

The Libertines
Pete & Carl also had a nice connection but they didnt take the right decisions, well we all know how Peter gets fucked up on drugs and Carlos was not going to wait for him to get sober and kept on going with the band. They are a punkrock icon now and i think they well deserved it, their musics so nice, they have great lyrics and the kids got charisma! We are hoping for a reunion but i see it hard to happen anytime soon.

The Last Shadow Puppets
Hi! Well i wanted this guys to win the Mercury prize this year because they came out with a fabulous record, it has a very vintage 60s sound kinda 007ish or i dont know but i think the orchestras work its great, and well Alex Turner former frontman of the Arctic Monkeys and Miles Kane from the Rascals made a great decision on this one, i like The Puppets better than the Rascals or even the Arctic Monkeys, actually i like them more by far.
The song is The Age Of The Understatement which i think its a great first single option, it went straight to the tops and the album did not disappoint, the little girls lovely and the boys are looking good, stylish and handsome, kinda cocky but they earned their right.
From Russia with Love!

This years Mercury prize winner is... ELBOW!
Tonight the guys from the band Elbow won the british national award, yeah the Mercury prizes an award given every year only to british bands for making the best record of the year (we all know the best record its Only By The Night but KOL are american and the albums not out yet) and well Great Britain its a fabric of good musicians. Well i didnt know the band, i was hoping for the Last Shadow Puppets to win but im glad they didnt, because this band Elbows great and if it wasnt for the award maybe i wouldnt have tried it, because its so underrated. So the albums called The Seldom Seen Kid. And im not saying they are better but ill classify this album as a complete winner, the Last Shadow Puppets are awesome but they dont sound as original.
Well i think this videos great, was nicely done and the guy sings the best, its quite Dogvilleish but thats just a plus. I want a dress like that, actually you can watch the first singles video called Grounds For Divorce and see a girl dancing wearing a really nice one, well i used to have a dress that was not vintage but looking a little bit like that. The first single reminds me of Josh Homme doing UNKLEs song Restless, listen to that too. Anyway i leave you with the song, and thanks to the people that reads my blog. Ah i forgot... dont you think this guy could have been on There Will Be Blood? i dont know maybe a secondary roll or something, at least on the soundtrack, No, actually Johnny Greenwood did a great job on that one.

Bob Dylan
Well Dylan's concert here in Mexico city was probably the best concert of the year... so far. I need to hold that comment and rethink about that after BRMCs concert the 30th of October, i know BRMC vs Dylans not a fair match for BRMC but ive always thought of BRMC like 2 Bob Dylans put together and just making my knees collapse! Anyway i shouldnt compare musicians like this, but its fun dont you internet users think?
I want to smoke and listen some folk and sit outside to the sun. Dont you feel like sitting under the sun when you listen good folk?

Dylan was right!
The boys doing their thing. Trani at Bonnaroo. This song takes me to Arizona or some place arid, Michael Madsen drinking forties and sitting outside looking at the dusty rhythm, and then rain. Anyway, i think Dylan was right, i always think Dylans right.

Kings of Leon
So.. this guys are coming out with the best album of 08 and they decided to put up some home videos in their youtube site. They seem to have fun and who wouldnt if you are doing that one job that most of the teenage and young adults want... rockstar! Yeah being a rockstar implies many things, among the best ones are: girls, pizza, parties, traveling, fame and drugs, apart from the expressing yourself to the world through music, personal achievement, artistic exploration, musical development and signing contracts with your name on that will grant your family with a home and food, part.
Well the videos are from that period of time in studio when doing their new album Only By The Night which its coming out in sep 23rd. Yeah they seem to have reached it, i heard that a chopper picked them up from their hotel room just 15 mins before their act at Glaston, this year headlining, you hear the spinning fan over your head that travels to the back of the stage while you wait in the sun for your favorite band to appear, 5 mins later, Kings of Leon!
Congrats guys! I think that now you can officially play stadiums! After all Dylan said it..
Dylan:(imagine Dylans voice tone) What was that last song you played?
Caleb: Its called Trani
Dylan: That was the best moment of rocknroll in years!

BRMC
So the gods are good with me and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club its playing Mexico again!
This time i want to meet them!
Pandy Pandy: So.. Peter, why do you think the 350 ml coke its better than the 600 ml one?
Peter Hayes: Is it?
The last time it was el Vive Latino and although it was a great show, the festival was not a proper place for me to enjoy it, people didnt know the band and i was not a bit interested in any of the other bands. But this time... Yay! Salon 21, a small venue with something more interesting to drink than beer! I just hope this time they bring their piano and forget about the fast tempo songs (which i love but..) they had to play last time to please ignorance! So yeah.. as it show in the website:
BRMC TO RETURN TO MEXICO AND SOUTH AMERICA
sep 1, 2008
The band is happy to announce their return to Mexico City and will then continue on to Bogota, Columbia.
BRMC will do a headline show in Mexico City on October 30th at the Vive Cuervo Salon.
All you do is talk - BRMC, one of my favorite songs all time!
